Foundation (Prep) – Grade 6 Enrolment/Transfer

To start primary school your child must turn five years of age, or older, by 30 April of the year that they will start school.

We require the following documentation with your enrolment form please:

• Proof of birth – certificate must be sighted
• Immunisation schedule
• Proof of residency in the zone – we need to view an original rate notice or water bill, or if renting, a copy of a rental agreement and a utilities bill.

The Department of Education (DE) has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Sydenham Primary School.
