Grade 6 Camp

The grade 6's were fortunate enough to go to Philip Island for an amazing camp experience across three days. They got to enjoy some amazing activities like Canoeing, the Flying Fox, the Team Rescue Challenge, Archery and the Circitron!

What an Amazing Grade 6 Camp!

Our students enjoyed an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, laughter, teamwork and plenty of memorable moments. Throughout camp, students challenged themselves with a fantastic range of activities, including Canoeing, the Flying Fox, the Team Rescue Challenge, Archery and Circitron. Evenings were just as entertaining, with an impressive talent show, movie night and a highly competitive trivia evening that certainly brought out everyone’s competitive spirit!

Of course, it wouldn’t be a beach camp without a visit to the beach! Students
enjoyed a semi-bush walk to the beautiful Smiths Beach, one of Victoria’s most popular beaches, where they could appreciate the stunning coastal surroundings whilst playing a super-fun game on the sand.
Beyond the activities, camp provided a wonderful opportunity for students to
make new friends and strengthen existing friendships outside the classroom.

It also encouraged resilience, independence and adaptability as our students
continue developing into respectful, responsible teenagers.
There were so many outstanding moments that it is impossible to name them all! Some mentions go to Bryce, Thomas and Thavishan for their consistent kindness; Olivia, Tyler, Zoe, Emmerson, Aryan, Angad and many others for stepping outside their comfort zones during challenging activities; Simon and Ishrat for handling disappointment with great maturity and being positive role models, and Jaxon, Kayla, Phoenix, Sienna and Aisha for showing great leadership during team activities; Congratulations to Hudson, our inaugural Spirit of the Camp award winner, recognising his exceptional attitude, kindness and maturity.

Finally, a huge thank you to our parent volunteers, Christian and Mel, and to all families for their incredible support in making this camp such a success. What an amazing experience to remember!
